Emri Yasso is an Analyst at Alkali Partners. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Finance and a Minor in Innovation at McMaster University and was originally born in Egypt.
Previously, he worked as a Spring Analyst at David N. Deutsch & Company, a New York–based boutique investment bank focused on M&A and Board Advisory, and as an Investment Intern at AXA in Egypt, supporting portfolio research and performance tracking.
At McMaster, he has participated in global case competitions, including the Harvard International Case Competition. He is also an active member of BLK Capital Management, where he and his team won a stock pitch competition hosted by UBS at the organization’s annual conference. Outside of academics, he enjoys working out, basketball, exploring new cuisines, and reading poetry and philosophy.
